LES INNOCENTS

Set in Russia in 1905, the performance drew inspiration from a pivotal historical event: the assassination of Grand Duke Sergei by the Russian revolutionary Ivan Kalyayev. Oyster Studio contributed to the preparation of the play by developing the scenographic concept, transforming these historical events into a contemporary, fashion-oriented set. We conducted extensive prop research, designed and staged the environment, and curated the costumes for each character, ensuring they aligned with their personalities and the overall artistic vision. Thanks to our collaborators, we also supported the young and talented director Marina Taasheva in stage management and actor training, helping the performers connect more deeply and authentically with their characters.
